Jami had tried yoga in her local gym over the years, but after coming to Be Yoga just a few times in 2010, she was hooked. She’s been actively practicing yoga for a few years now and received her 200 RYT from Core Bodyworks in September 2012 as well as co-founding Karma Yoginis earlier that year. Yoga has helped shape Jami’s life and helped her become more balanced and appreciative of the life in and around her, and the people in it. She believes it’s important to take time for yourself each day by getting on your mat and allowing yourself to close your eyes and just…breathe. Jami thinks that taking time to do that will help you to be a better wife, husband, child, grandmother, boss, employee, soccer mom and all around person. When she’s not practicing and teaching yoga, Jami enjoys her other job as a full-time mom and part-time student.
