$12 per person LIVESTREAM class
Rest, restore, and recharge either in studio, or from home via LIVESTREAM, in this restorative yoga class with Christina Rodriguez. Restorative yoga is a practice of releasing, receiving and letting go. You will use blankets, bolsters and blocks to fully support you as you enjoy long holds in postures meant to soothe, calm, and revitalize your body and mind. This gentle practice in stillness can sometimes be the most challenging for our on-the-go natures; but, the practice of conscious resting is truly an act of self-care. A restorative practice differs from yin in that there is no deep stretching. Rather, each restorative posture is an opportunity for a mini-meditation while beautifully supported with props. This all levels class is ideal for anyone looking for an opportunity to relax and recharge in a calm, soothing environment.
Suggested Props to Have Available (must bring your own for in studio class):
- bolster (or pillows, the firmer the pillows, the better. A stack of towels bundled up and tied can work too)
-blankets (three, if possible, but bring what you have)
-two blocks (alternatively, a couple of larger books or shoe boxes could work)
-hand towel or eye covering

Be Yin and Yoga Nidra Extended Length Class
led by Douglas Johnson
Saturdays, November 1st
7:00pm - 8:30pm, $20 instudio, $12 LIVESTREAM
Unwind your body and mind, instudio or from home, in this yin yoga and yoga nidra class with Doug Johnson. Yin yoga emphasizes softness and self-compassion. It is a non-strenuous class that will stimulate parts of your body that are not typically affected by the more energetic yoga styles. All poses are seated or prone and focus on the core area between the navel and the knees. Most poses are held for five minutes with a focus on the breath and inner landscape. Yoga Nidra, sometimes referred to as “yoga sleep,” is a guided meditation with a focus on creating relaxation and ease. This is an all levels class. Class is limited to 12 people instudio so please register early!
